AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TEACHER EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT EASTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-eight thousand dollars ($78,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico university for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to pay for faculty training, travel expenses and course materials for the university's off-campus teacher education initiative for eastern New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
