AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONTRACT FOR THERAPEUTIC HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS IN THE TATUM MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Ten thousand dollars ($10,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to contract for therapeutic horseback riding lessons for individuals with disabilities or special needs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
