AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ELECTRONIC TRANSACTION INITIATIVE, THE SANTA FE GIFT MARKET WHOLESALE TRADE SHOW AND A CONSUMER AWARENESS CAMPAIGN.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--
A. Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico department of agriculture for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to continue the existing:
(1) electronic transaction initiative for New Mexico companies and to provide technical assistance to rural New Mexico artisan manufacturers and food producers;
(2) Santa Fe gift market wholesale trade show; and
(3) New Mexico consumer awareness campaign.
B. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
