AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR ARTS PROGRAMS AT LA PROMESA SCHOOL IN THE BELEN CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the public education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to fund arts programs and projects at La Promesa school in the Belen consolidated school district. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
