    Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 471, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, line 20, strike "shall not bid on a contract" and insert in lieu thereof "or subcontractor that submits a bid valued at more than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000)".

    2. On page 1, line 22, strike "if the contractor is not" and insert in lieu thereof "shall be".

    3. On page 1, line 23, strike "A" and strike lines 24 and 25 in their entirety.

    4. On page 2, strike lines 1 and 2 and on line 3, strike "division.".

    5. On page 2, line 3, strike "registered for", strike line 4

and insert in lieu thereof "subject to the requirements of this subsection.".

    6. On page 2, line 4, after the period insert:

"Bidding documents issued or released by a state agency shall include notification that the contractor or subcontractor is required to register pursuant to this subsection.".

    7. On page 2, line 8, after "of" insert "required".

    8. On page 2, line 8, strike "with the division" and insert in lieu thereof "for itself or its subcontractors".

    9. On page 2, line 9, strike "shall" and insert in lieu thereof "may".
