AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS TO CONTRACT FOR A SUMMER LEADERSHIP PROGRAM FOR NATIVE AMERICAN STUDENTS.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to contract with the Santa Fe Indian school for a summer leadership and policy program for Native American high school students in Santa Fe. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
