AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DIAGNOSTIC EVALUATIONS FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred forty-three thousand five hundred dollars ($243,500) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for diagnostic evaluations for children with autism spectrum disorder. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
