AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO EXPAND COMMUNITY-BASED PROJECTS FOR LOW-INCOME COMMUNITIES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 for the school of architecture and planning to expand and enhance its community service mission through the design and planning assistance center to work on community-based projects in architecture, planning and landscape architecture with low-income communities, groups, municipalities and nonprofit organizations. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
