AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR TEACHER TRAINING IN SCIENCE, MATHEMATICS AND TECHNOLOGY AT NEW MEXICO INSTITUTE OF MINING AND TECHNOLOGY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to continue training New Mexico teachers in science, mathematics and technology to meet the requirements and standards for highly qualified teachers for New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
