AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN ONLINE NEW MEXICO SMALL BUSINESS RETENTION AND EXPANSION INITIATIVE.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Nine hundred fifty-two thousand dollars ($952,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico institute of mining and technology for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to support an online New Mexico small business retention and expansion initiative. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
