AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER SERVICES TO NATIVE AMERICAN WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN ALBUQUERQUE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to to contract for domestic violence shelter services for Native American women and children in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
