AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO CONTRACT FOR PROVISION OF AN ANTI-DISCRIMINATION AND ANTI-BIAS-RELATED VIOLENCE EDUCATION PROGRAM IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to contract for provision of an anti-discrimination and anti-bias-related violence education program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
