AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR NURSING EDUCATION IN NEW MEXICO.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to increase admissions and for support of the bachelor of science in nursing program and to maintain the master of science in nursing program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
