    Your BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

HOUSE BILL 86

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new subsection:

         “B. “counterfeit cigarettes” means cigarette packages with counterfeit stamps, cigarettes that have false or fraudulent manufacturing labels and cigarette packages without the tax or tax-exempt stamps required under the Cigarette Tax Act;”.

    2. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

     3. On page 6, line 5, strike "seventy-two hours" and insert in lieu thereof "ten days".

     4. On page 8, line 22, strike "nine-tenths" and insert in lieu thereof "one".

     5. On page 8, line 25, strike "seven-tenths" and insert in lieu thereof "eight-tenths".

     6. On page 11, line 6, after "to" insert "contraband, counterfeit or stolen".

    7. On page 21, strike subsection F in its entirety.,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
