AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION DIVISION OF THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the historic preservation division of the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2005 to contract for the development of educational programs in historic preservation and regionalism. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
