Synopsis of Bill

House Bill 16 appropriates $12.0 million from the general fund to the Department of Transportation for the purpose of extending Albuquerque’s Paseo del Norte from Golf Course Road to Unser Boulevard.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

The appropriation of $12.0 million contained in this bill is a non-recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of Fiscal Year 2008 shall revert to the general fund.
