SENATE EDUCATION COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE JOINT RESOLUTIONS 2, 5, 12 & 21, as amended

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. Strike Senate Finance Committee Amendment 2.

2. On page 2, line 9, after the period strike the remainder of the line, strike line 10 through "secretary" and insert in lieu thereof "The commission and the department".

3. On page 2, line 11, after "direction" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 12 through "for" and insert in lieu thereof "of".

4. On page 2, line 13, strike ", pursuant to authority and powers" and insert in lieu thereof "as".

5. On page 2, line 14, after the period strike the remainder of the line and strike line 15 in its entirety.

6. On page 2, line 17, strike "who shall be state officers".

7. On page 3, line 18, after "The" insert "elected".,

and thence referred to the VOTERS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE.
