     Synopsis of Bill

 

Senate Education Committee Substitute for Senate Bill 890 appropriates $100.0 from the general fund to the Historic Preservation Division of the Office of Cultural Affairs for the purpose of contracting for the development of educational programs in historic preservation and regionalism.

 

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

 

The appropriation of $100.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FY04 shall revert to the general fund.

 

DUPLICATION

 

Senate Finance Committee Substitute for Senate Bill 655, Supplemental General Appropriations Act, includes $75.0 in general fund for the same purpose of this bill.
