SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
Senate Bill 660 allows wild game meat products
to be donated by hunters, taken to a commercial meat processor for preparation
and delivery to charitable, religious or other non profit organizations and
served for human consumption at no charge.
It removes previous restrictions for the transportation, storage and
processing of wild game meat products according to procedures established by
the Environment Department (ED).
SB 660
establishes these standards for deer, elk, antelope, caribou, ibex, oryx and barbary
sheep meat products.
