SUMMARY

 

     Synopsis of Bill

 

House Memorial 50 requests the Governor and the secretary of the Economic Development Department to assist and direct all land grant organizations in New Mexico.  Further, the memorial directs the Governor and secretary of the Economic Development Department to lend particular emphasis on land development and site locations for new businesses

 

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

 

There is no appropriation or significant fiscal impact associated with this memorial.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS

 

This memorial will have implications on the Governor’s Office and the Economic Development Department in the form of closer contact with all land grant organizations in New Mexico. The Economic Development Department notes similar services are currently administered through their Regional Representative Program in the Community Development Program.
