SUMMARY
Synopsis
of Bill
HJM 80 requests the
Corrections Department to collaborate with the Second Chance Program to obtain
federal grant funding and establish a demonstration prison-based drug
rehabilitation program in
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
There is no
appropriation in the bill to pay for the program; the department it to request
federal grant funding. Federal funding may
require a state match, If a match is required the Corrections Department
will need to use funds in their current budget or request match funds in the
FY05 year.
RELATIONSHIP
HJM80 relates to
