requests the
FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
Enactment of SM 48
would not have a fiscal impact on a state agency. If the lands in question were
returned to multiple-use, sustained-yield management, there could be economic
value generated from the use of natural resources.
Senate Bill 590 would
require the Commissioner of Public Lands to pursue a lawsuit against the U.S.
Government to return federal lands to the state. The lands in question would be
included under such a lawsuit.
