SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 115

 

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN CARLSBAD IN EDDY COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the state agency on aging

 

four hundred sixty-five thousand nine hundred seventy dollars ($465,970) for an addition to the senior center to provide for adult daycare group respite in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

• to the department of environment

 

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) for constructing and equipping phase 3 of the wastewater effluent reuse project in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

 

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for design and phase 1 construction of a youth sports complex in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for renovation of the Will Merchant softball complex in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) for the design and construction of the National Cave and Karst research institute in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for improvements at the Riverwalk recreation center in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to design and construct an animal shelter in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for improvements to the San Jose park plaza in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for design and construction of new facilities and repair of existing facilities at the public shooting range in Carlsbad in Eddy county;

 

one hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000) for design and construction of a Carlsbad municipal transit system facility in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

 

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for improvements to the streetscape for the main street project in Carlsbad in Eddy county; and

 

• to the office of the state engineer

 

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for improvements to and the design and construction of an irrigation system at the Carlsbad cemetery in Carlsbad in Eddy county.
