SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 112

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Carroll H. Leavell

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN EUNICE IN LEA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

one hundred forty-four thousand dollars ($144,000) for additions to and renovation of the wastewater treatment plant in Eunice in Lea county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

one hundred forty thousand dollars ($140,000) to seal and make improvements to the streets in Eunice in Lea county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one hundred eighteen thousand dollars ($118,000) to design and construct a municipal cemetery, including architectural and engineering costs, in Eunice in Lea county; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design and construct the demolition and removal of condemned buildings, including the removal of hazardous materials, in Eunice in Lea county; and

• to the department of health

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to construct a medical clinic, including architectural and engineering costs, in Eunice in Lea county.
