IMPROVEMENTS AT THE NEW MEXICO FARM AND RANCH HERITAGE MUSEUM IN LAS CRUCES IN
DONA ANA COUNTY.
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the office of cultural affairs
one hundred fifty thousand dollars
($150,000) to relocate the Rio Hondo bridge at the New Mexico farm and ranch
heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) for
a sheep and goat exhibit barn at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum
in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000)
for a cattleman’s exhibit barn and exhibit planning at New Mexico farm and
ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000)
for engineering of existing drainage problems and bridge site at the New Mexico
farm and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000)
for the children's animal barnyard at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage
museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000)
for the greenhouse project at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in
Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for farm
implements and equipment at the New Mexico farm and ranch heritage museum in
Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
sixty-nine thousand five hundred dollars
($69,500) for in-house projects, including improvements to fields, fencing,
demonstration areas, pathways and the site, at the New Mexico farm and ranch
heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county;
one hundred fifty thousand dollars
($150,000) for the north 20 site development at the New Mexico farm and ranch
heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county; and
one hundred fifty thousand dollars
($150,000) for a permanent exhibit in the main gallery of the New Mexico farm
and ranch heritage museum in Las Cruces in Dona Ana county.
