REQUESTED BY James R. Madalena

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE TORREON-STAR LAKE CHAPTER OF THE NAVAJO NATION IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

eighteen thousand dollars ($18,000) for surveying, archaeological clearance and environmental assessments for forty acres identified for a Navajo housing authority subdivision in the Torreon-Star Lake chapter of the Navajo Nation in Sandoval county;

twenty-nine thousand dollars ($29,000) for surveying, archaelogical clearance and environmental assessment for one hundred sixty acres identified for a Navajo housing authority subdivision for the Torreon-Star Lake chapter of the Navajo Nation in Sandoval county; and

four hundred fifty thousand dollars ($450,000) to plan, design and construct a multipurpose community facility for the Torreon-Star Lake chapter of the Navajo Nation in Sandoval county.
