STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Don Tripp

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN SOCORRO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to design, construct and equip a senior center in Magdalena in Socorro county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to design, rebuild and resurface San Francisco road in Socorro county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan, design and construct an animal control center in Socorro in Socorro county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to purchase an animal control truck in Socorro county;

seven hundred thousand dollars ($700,000) to design and construct a district attorney building in Socorro in Socorro county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to design and renovate the old county hospital building in Socorro in Socorro county.
