HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 333

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SOCORRO IN SOCORRO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to design and construct a water well in Socorro in Socorro county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to pave roads in Socorro in Socorro county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to design, construct and equip a landfill disposal cell at the Socorro landfill in Socorro county;

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to renovate the city's swimming pool, including repairs and resurfacing, in Socorro in Socorro county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for an addition to the skate park facility in Socorro in Socorro county; and

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) to design, construct, equip and renovate Sedillo park in Socorro in Socorro county.
