STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Richard D. Vigil

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state agency on aging

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to improve and furnish senior centers in San Miguel county;

• to the department of health

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to construct phase 2 of the San Miguel county public health facility project; and

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to improve the clinic of health centers in San Miguel county;

• to the state highway and transportation department

two million nine hundred fifty-two thousand nine hundred seventy-two dollars ($2,952,972) to improve roads in San Miguel county; and

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to repair and improve San Miguel county road B28-A and county road B26-A; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to upgrade the archiving system for the county clerk's office in San Miguel county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to purchase and install lighting equipment for the sheriff's office complex in Pecos in San Miguel county;

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to expand, renovate, improve and equip the San Miguel county courthouse;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for maintenance, repairs and equipment for fire engines for the McIntosh fire department in San Miguel county; and

one hundred eighty-three thousand seven hundred fifty dollars ($183,750) to improve the building for the West Las Vegas head start program in San Miguel county.
