46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Richard D. Vigil

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN LAS VEGAS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) to repair and improve streets and sidewalks in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

three hundred seven thousand four hundred twenty-one dollars ($307,421) to improve and repair Romero street, including sewer line installation, in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one million eight hundred fifty thousand dollars ($1,850,000) for the downtown revitalization project in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to construct a Vietnam memorial in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to improve baseball fields in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) to plan, design and construct a drag race strip in Las Vegas in San Miguel county; and

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to purchase a pumper and tank for the Gallinas fire and rescue department in Las Vegas in San Miguel county.
