HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 946

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

46TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2003

REQUESTED BY Earlene Roberts

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) for improvements to county roads in Roosevelt county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to purchase road equipment in Roosevelt county;

five hundred two thousand dollars ($502,000) to renovate the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system at the Roosevelt county courthouse;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to renovate the law enforcement complex, including the roof and the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system, in Roosevelt county;

nine hundred five thousand dollars ($905,000) to improve the fairground facilities in Roosevelt county;

sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) for an addition to the Roosevelt county extension office; and

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for an addition to the Arch volunteer fire department in Roosevelt county.
