FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS
IN PORTALES IN ROOSEVELT COUNTY.
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the state agency on aging
forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for
sidewalk, parking area, landscaping and general improvements for the eastern
plains council of government's assisted living apartment complex in Portales in
Roosevelt county;
•
to the state highway and transportation department
one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars
($175,000) for streets, curbs and gutters for the north side of Portales in
Roosevelt county;
sixty-five thousand dollars ($65,000) to
improve Burlington Northern and Santa Fe railroad crossings in Portales in
Roosevelt county; and
seven hundred fifty thousand dollars
($750,000) for repaving, curbs, gutters and drainage in Portales in Roosevelt
county; and
•
to the local government division of the department of finance and
administration
one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000)
to upgrade the Roosevelt county courthouse plaza area in Portales;
ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) for the
construction of a new animal control building in Portales in Roosevelt county;
and
two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000)
to design and construct a fire station in Portales in Roosevelt county.
