FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN MCKINLEY, CIBOLA AND SAN JUAN COUNTIES AND STATEWIDE.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the economic development department

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to conduct an asset building and asset incentives feasibility study statewide;

 

• to the state highway and transportation department

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for road improvements on county road 1 in McKinley county;

 

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for capital improvements related to the adventure Gallup tourism project in McKinley county;

 

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) for a public transportation feasibility study in Gallup in McKinley county and Grants in Cibola county;

 

five thousand dollars ($5,000) for field improvements at the Tony Dorsett football league city park in Gallup in McKinley county;

 

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for improvements to the soccer field in Gallup in McKinley county; and

 

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for a feasibility study for a museum network in McKinley county;

 

• to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a photovoltaic solar power system for Two Grey Hills chapter of the Navajo Nation in San Juan county;

 

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for improvements to a multipurpose building at the Mexican Springs chapter in McKinley county; and

 

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for an electrical powerline extension for Manuelito chapter in McKinley county; and

 

• to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico

 

forty thousand dollars ($40,000) to renovate the library at the university of New Mexico campus in Gallup in McKinley county; and

 

ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for electronic publishing technology at the university of New Mexico campus in Gallup in McKinley county.
