MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY TO INCREASE GRADUATE ASSISTANTSHIP PAYMENTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to pay the cost of health insurance and tuition for graduate assistants. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
