AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE ON AFRICAN AMERICAN AFFAIRS TO SUPPORT CONFERENCES RELATING TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, DIABETES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office on African American affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to support conferences relating to domestic violence, diabetes and high blood pressure. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
