Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 7, lines 17 and 18, strike "within a designated scope of practice" and insert in lieu thereof "pursuant to the Emergency Medical Services Act".

2. On page 11, line 20, strike "licensure" and insert in lieu thereof "certification".

3. On page 11, line 20, after "program" insert "for certified emergency medical services".

4. On page 17, line 4, strike the bracket, strike "and" and strike the line through "the bureau".

5. On page 17, line 5, remove the line through "chief or his designee, who shall serve without vote,".

6. On page 17, lines 7 and 8, strike "the state emergency medical services director".

7. On page 19, lines 5 through 13, remove the brackets and the line through Subsection E.

8. On page 19, lines 16 through 20, remove the brackets and the line-through.

9. On page 19, lines 22 and 23, strike the underscored "at the scene of an emergency".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
