AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND WATER MASTER AND OTHER STAFF FOR THE AZTEC DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE STATE ENGINEER'S OFFICE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thirty-nine thousand eight hundred fifty dollars ($339,850) is appropriated from the general fund to the state engineer to fund a water master position and other staff positions in district 5 in the Aztec sub-office. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
