Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred



SENATE BILL 434



has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:



1. On page 1, line 19, strike "12" and insert in lieu thereof "13".

2. On page 12, between lines 9 and 10, insert the following new section to read:



"Section 13. [NEW MATERIAL] EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM.--The state parks division of the energy, minerals and natural resources department shall develop and implement a program to advertise and further educate the boating public about the dangers of boating while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and the penalties associated with a conviction pursuant to the provisions of the Boating While Intoxicated Act.".

3. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.
