SENATE BILL 397



has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:



1. On page 9, strike lines 14 through 17 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following subsection:



"A. The department may adopt and promulgate necessary rules and forms for the administration of the Adoption Act, including rules for the assessment of fees. The rules shall not conflict with the provisions of the Adoption Act.".



2. On page 13, line 23, strike the period.



3. On page 13, line 24, strike "If it is a convention adoption" and insert in lieu thereof "and, if so".
