AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NATIONAL GUARD YOUTH CHALLENGE PROGRAM.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred twenty thousand dollars ($420,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of military affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for the national guard youth challenge program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
