AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR INSTALLATION AND RELATED ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO PLACE THE STATUE OF POPÉ IN THE NATIONAL STATUARY HALL.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal years 2004 and 2005 to fund the transportation, installation, informational campaign and related activities associated with placing the statue of Popé in the national statuary hall. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2005 shall revert to the general fund.
