MAKING APPROPRIATIONS TO THE NEW MEXICO OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS TO FUND TWO NEW FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE POSITIONS AND BUILDING STABILIZATION AT THE JEMEZ STATE MONUMENT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Forty-six thousand five hundred twenty-eight dollars ($46,528) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to fund one full-time cashier and one full-time ranger for the Jemez state monument. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
Section 2. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred and thirty thousand dollars ($130,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to complete the stabilization of the San Jose de los Jemez mission church. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
