AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION TO SUPPORT MEDICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS FOR NEEDY CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE ROSWELL INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Sixty-one thousand dollars ($61,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to support medical and mental health programs for needy children and families in the Roswell independent schools. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
