MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ASSESS THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY OF CHAPARRAL IN OTERO AND DONA ANA COUNTIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to assess the health care needs of the community of Chaparral in Otero and Dona Ana counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
