MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STATEWIDE TRAINING PROGRAM TO ENHANCE THE SKILLS AND ABILITIES OF THE STATE'S HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ENTITIES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to contract with the New Mexico mortgage finance authority for the authority to purchase training services statewide to enhance the skills and abilities of the state's housing and community development entities. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
