HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1__ to HOUSE BILL 696, as amended

Amendment sponsored by Representative

1. On page 1, line 19, after "are" insert "not related by blood and are".

2. On page 1, line 21, strike the semicolon, strike "a", strike lines 22 through 25 in their entirety and on page 2, strike line 1 through the second occurrence of a quotation mark.

3. On page 4, between lines 9 and 10, insert the following new

subsection:

"B. a domestic partner may effectuate such insurance upon the other domestic partner;".

4. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.
