Your APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred



HOUSE BILL 666, as amended



has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:



1. On page 1, lines 13 and 14, strike "; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION".



2. On page 2, line 8, after the period insert "The information required under Subsection A of this section is confidential and shall not be disclosed pursuant to Section 3 of this act and shall not be subject to public inspection pursuant to the provisions of Section 14-2-1 NMSA 1978.".



3. On page 2, strike lines 18 through 25 and on page 3, strike lines 1 through 18.



4. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.



5. On page 4, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following new section to read:



"Section 5. SEVERABILITY.--If any part or application of this act is held invalid, the remainder or its application to other situations or persons shall not be affected.".



6. On page 4, strike lines 3 through 8 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof:



"Section 6. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of Section 2 of this act is January 1, 2004.".



7. Renumber the sections to correspond with these amendments.
