Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 11, strike "MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO CONDUCT" and insert in lieu thereof "PROVIDING FOR".

2. On page 1, strike lines 18 through 20 and strike line 21 through "the" and insert in lieu thereof the following:

"Section 1. STATEWIDE STUDY ON GAMING.--The".

3. On page 1, line 22, strike the first occurrence of "to" and insert in lieu thereof "at the university of New Mexico shall".

4. On page 2, line 3, after the period strike the remainder of the line and strike line 4 and insert in lieu thereof "The requirement of this section is contingent upon the university of New Mexico receiving sufficient funds to conduct the study from the New Mexico lottery authority and the gaming industry.".
