AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND CONTRACTING SERVICES FOR THE OPERATION OF CERTAIN BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF THE NAVAJO NATION IN NEW MEXICO.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to contract for services at boys and girls clubs in Shiprock, Tohatchi, Pine Hill, Dzilth-na-o-dith-hle, Tohajiilee and Alamo. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
