AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A YOUTH SHELTER TO SERVE THE NORTHEAST QUADRANT OF THE STATE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred sixty-seven thousand dollars ($267,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for a youth shelter for homeless, runaway and other children that serves San Miguel, Mora, Harding, Colfax and Union counties. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
